Brownies

I made some dessert to take to the dinner that I volunteer with on Sunday evenings. And by the title of this post you probably already guessed that I made brownies. I made a comment saying that they really weren't that hard to make and I was quickly told to not say that to the homeless community we were feeding. I saw joy on peoples faces when they saw us carrying in brownies. No joke, it was quite a riot to see. But I realized how ignorant I was by saying that they really didn't take much effort and it wasn't hard to make them, because for my friends those brownies made them feel human. I think from now on whenever I make brownies I will think of them.
